Dormouse signs

(1&2)Here we have a couple of pictures of a Hazel nut which has been eaten by a Doremouse.

Doremice almost always use the "Scar" at the bottom of the nut to get a grip so the hole and the scar normally touch,note the neat hole with no teeth marks on the cut face and teeth marks on the surface of the shell.
