Dragons

Went to the pools at Aylesbere and plenty to see with double figures of Emperor Dragonflies, Damselfly and Keeled Skimmers, great to watch

Reptiles

At Aylesbere looking for Adders which to my amazement I didn't see any but did see a Common Lizard and a swimming Grass snake which was quite special to see.

Butterflies

Went to Aylesbere to se what non bird species I could find and a new one on the Butterfly list is Greyling which brings the total to 41 and list goes-Brimstone, Small White, Large White, Marbled White, Orange Tip, Green-veined White, Red Admiral, White Admiral, Peacock, Speckled Wood, Dark Green Fritillary, Duke of Burgundy, Glanville Fritillary, Heath Fritillary, High Brown Fritillary, Marsh Fritillary, Pearl-Bordered Fritillary, Silver Washed Fritillary, Small Pearl-Bordered Fritillary, Clouded Yellow, Painted Lady, Large Skipper, Small Skipper, Lulworth Skipper, Dingy Skipper, Grizzled Skipper, Small Heath, Green Hairstreak, Purple Hairstreak, White Letter Hairstreak, Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Gatekeeper, Greyling, Comma, Small Copper, Brown Argus, Adonis Blue, Common Blue, Small Blue and Holy Blue.

Bowling Green Marsh

Went to BGM for high tide today, there had been several sightings of Speckled Redshank in summer plumage which I was able to see but at a distance in my bins, sadly not close enough for a decant picture.

Also saw Spoonbill, Little Egret, Grey Heron, Redshank, Greenshank, Oyster catcher, Godwits, Curlew and a new wader Green Sandpiper, Shovler, Mallard, Widgeon, Magpie, Jackdaw, Woodpigeon, Med, Black Headed, Herring, LBB gulls, Swallow, Sand and House Martins, Moorhen and chicks and Shielduck.

Couple of other new ones seen over this last couple of weeks, Red Kite, Sparrowhawk and Garden Warbler which takes the total to 134
